I am reading a book "building a website for dummies" by David Crowder and I am learning a lot of important information. I want to share this information with you as I know many of us here have our blogs/sites and our earnings from these blogs depend on the traffic we drive to our sites. This traffic of course can be improved if we have a good rank within google. One of the things we can do to improve our page rank is joining a banner exchange. In a banner exchange, each member creates a banner ad and submits it to a central site. That site, the exchange itself, automates the process of displaying all the member's ads on all the other members' websites. You have to make sure to join good banner exchange sites. Do a search on google and find out about the sites reputation exactly as we do with GPT programs. Once you find some good banner exchange sites, joining them is easy. You simply fill out an application form on the banner exchange website, then you send your banner and you place some html code on your own site. That's all there is to do. One good banner exchange site is addme.com. Good luck with your site or blog.

You are doing just what I like to see done. Giving people helpful advice. I do my best in the time I have to make posts and interact with people. Have you ever considered being a teacher? Thanks for this advice. Although I know a lot about internet marketing, seo and website building I have never seen the book you mention here. I will have to look for it.

Hi keithstieneke and thank you for your response. I know that you have good lenses on squidoo and a good article on Associated Content. I learn a lot from you too. Thanks.
