What to do when depressed.

It's really weird being depressed when there's nothing to be depressed about. Sometimes, its all in our heads. For me, I worry so much, I feel like I'm always not good enough even if I'm on top of the class. I just can't please myself, somehow I always end up thinking self-depreciating thoughts. If you feel the same way try these: 1.Busy yourself! Don't keep your thoughts in idle. 2.Force yourself to keep moving. Get your head off thinking unpleasant thoughts. 3.Keep your mind busy while eating. e.g. reading, writing while eating. 4.Feeling depressed? Interact with people ASAP! 5.Find the need to be needed. Make yourself useful. There's always something to do for sure. Go clean the toilet or something. 6.Do nice things for people. Nothing makes one feel more useful and accomplished than being able to help others. 7.Depression wastes your time and you end up feelong bad about yourself! Don't let it eat you up! 8.Practice to improve each and every day. I hope you guys try it and let me know what you think. Do you think it'll work?

when depressed, i'd like to fill my stomach, any food at hand will do the work, after that i almost forget depress. or a favorite dvd can make me feel better.

Hi,annama! Besides your tips,I want to share other tips here. 1.Food treatment. When you feel depressed,you can eat banana or chocolate.Both these two food are magic food whicn can make you feel pleasant and happy. 2.Music treatment. When you are upset,you can listen to music which can make yor smile or make you cry out.What you need is that a way of releasing yourself.Smile aloud or cry aloud can help you released the disappointment. 3.Friends treatment. When you feel despressed,then you can ask your best friends for help.Confiding your feeling to your friend and ask them not to say anything about your conversation.

I feel when one is depressed one should think and be positive in life. One should see the larger picture and feel blessed for what we have. I also feel we should unwind and chill out by listening to our favourite music that will lift our spirits or dance to beats of popular filmi number. I also feel one should do meditation and yoga as it helps to connect mind, body and soul. Then doing aerobics, playing sports, doing hobbies like gardening. And keeping ourself busy will surely do us good.

Yeah it's true making yourself busy really help you in times of depression! Also try to avoid he things or the person whom is the sole reason why your in depression... try to smile a lot and mingle with funny people around you. listening to music also helps but case to case basis.. indulge into sports and have fun!

When i am depressed i often busy myself or have a sleepy.I often sweep my house ,wash clotheses ,go shopping ,playing with my friends or have a good sleep. These kinds of way are very efficiency. You can try it by yourself.

Most time, its my work..with ontime deliveries and work loads. I try to divert mind on music and i feel better.
