I'm a short girl. I only stand 5'2" and I really want to grow taller but they say that one won't be able to grow once s/he reaches 18, I'm already 19. I already lost hope; until I learned about the SHINBONE ROUTINE. Basically, the idea is to create as much MICROFRACTURES as possible. Naturally, a person obtains microfracture through normal jogging and walking but to create a significant amount, ankle weights are needed. Bones naturally heal fast, in less than an hour; the objective is to stretch the bone while it's healing, thus making you taller and taller each time. Generally this is the routine: 1. Jog with ankle weights for 30-60 minutes. Ankle weights may vary from 6lbs to 15lbs depending on the current height. 2.Sit or lie down with 10lbs to 45lbs iron rings on each leg to stretch the leg. You can do this by sitting on the edge of you bed as long as you leg don't touch the floor. Do this for 1-2 hours. Remove the weights. 3. Sleep IMMEDIATELY. Avoid walking for the stretched shinboned would be compressed again. Keep your remote control nearby to avoid walking. Anyone willing to try it like me? Let me know about what you think.

this sounds a bit dangerous to me. What about the long term effects this might have on your bones in later life? Do you not think that you should just be happy with the way you are and accept it? My daughter is the same height and age as you, and she doesnt like being short either but I know she wouldnt even think about doing what youre doing, and Im not convinced that youre going to find a lot of difference in your height when uve finished. Have you not heard of the saying - good things come in small packages?

Yep I realize that, of couse I'm not encouraging this because I know things like these always involves risk. It just depends on how much you're willing to risk. For me, I value my safety first, if I feel like i can't do it anymore then i'll stop. I'm just sharing this height increasing experiment to make people more aware of it and comment about it. Thanks for the concern anyway. :)
