My grandma live with us, she is such a nice old lady. 90 years old, considarate to everyone, very healthy, full of humor. She doesn't need anyone to look after of her. Actually, she care about everyone very much. All of my family love her very much. I hope she can live her happy life as long as possible.

I am sorry to hear about your past losses, I am lucky enough to have both of my grandmothers left. Although neither of my grandfathers. I lost my first grandfather at about six years old so I don't really remember him that much. My second grandfather we lost him about six months after my son was born in 2002. I miss him dearly. I wish I had a better relationship with my mother's mom but I don't. That is mainly due to that entire side of my family being very snobbish. My dad's mother on the other hand I would give my life for. I have always known her as Nanny, versus only being able to call my mother's mom "Grandmother" And my aunt looks after my grandmother since my grandfather passed on. The bad thing is she lives about 10 hours away from me and I don't get to visit at all.

With my mother's side, I still have my grand parents but with my Father's side I don't even have one left to meet. I'm glad cause I have seen some of them and even live with for some years when I was in high school. It is really different having them, they taught us alot and even guide us as we grow. I'm more closer to my "lola" than my "lolo" that's why I love her better than the other.

I am happy to say both of my grandparents are still alive. I LOVE my grandfather so much! My grandmother and I have had problems in the past but the older I get the better our relationship becomes. I moved away from home about 9 months ago and stayed with them for a month out of that. I miss them SO MUCH! I call them as often as I can. I will be seeing them in Vegas next month when they go on vacation. It is only a 12 hour drive from where I am now, so its a lot closer to see them there than the 2,000 miles I would have to drive to get home. They are getting up in age though and I am already freaking out about losing them. I KNOW I am going to lose it when my grandfather passes. I don't think I will do so well without him. He has played the part of the father I have never had on top of being the grandfather. They were the only thing keeping me back in Texas. Awww, you made me miss them even more!!!

I did not even have the chance to see my grandparents. Both of them passed away even before I was born. I envy my friends who have grandparents who dote on them.

Only one grandmother on my wife's side who is left. Unfortunately, she doesn't visit or care to communicate with her (our four) grandkids. Instead, she devotes all her time to her favorite grandson who has taken almost everything from her and uses her as a built in made and babysitter for his two kids age 17 and 14. Yes, he requires them to have a babysitter while he sleeps or goes out. Its a sad sight. I wish the relationship with her was better. Its not so bad for us, but worse for our kids.

My mom's parents passed away when I was very young. My dad's mom passedy about 9 years ago and my only living grandpa is in a nursing home, 750 miles away from me. Last time I visited, he didn't remember me, that hurt me a lot. Evrytime I visit my hometown, my family tells me it might be the last time I see my grandpa alive, and that hurts me. But I know that he would want me to go on with my life and not worry about him. I just pray for him, it must really suck being in there in such a defenseless state.
