It depends what you mean by soul mate? I have read once that there are probably several hundred people in the world for all of us that we would be perfectly happy with. The one problem is, we never get to meet them. So perhaps the ones who are looking have the right idea.

I agree with you...it depends on your definition of a soulmate. I read somewhere that a soulmate is one who brings out the good or bad in a person. One who helps you grow to your full potential or not. It doesn't necessarily mean a life partner, wife, husband, lover, girlfriend, or boyfriend. I believe that my nieces and nephews are my soulmates. Why do you ask? I have one niece who just brings out the worst in me. I see her as a very intelligent person but her choices does not back that up. My second nephew is very kind and always sees the good in everything. And my 3rd nephew, even though I never got to spend much time with him when he was younger as he was always with his mother is very loving. One of the first outings I took him on was to a farm and one of the activities was a hayride. He sat next to me with his head in my lap and in nothing flat he was fast asleep. This taught me trust...he recognized that as his aunt he could trust me and showed me that I was trustworthy. Better stop now or I could write a book!!!

I really don't know...a part of me wants to believe that to be true but then the other part of me that has experienced the "failed" relationships doesn't really think that it's true. There probably is someone out there for everyone, but its the matter of going through the motions before "finding the one" that makes it suck...lol...

Probably not. I think most of the people have been blessed with a soulmate but some might have not been blessed with a soulmate. The problem may be solved by going for the bestmate, if not the soulmate. And who knows, the bestmate may subsequently turn out to be the soulmate.

I do belive that there is someone out there for all of us and that we will find him or her sooner or later. I do belive that I have already found mine, even though we have only been together for a little over a year he IS the man of my dreams!

Some people do seem to find their soulmates as they confess about it, but there is only one true soulmate and that He is the source of our being; his name is Jesus Christ and his just waiting for our reply, he's only a call away. Seek him and you will find him, that is for sure. As for a partner for life not everyone though is intitled that is a fact of life.
