Yes. I am a bookie person, I love going to the library and read books for free. Knowledge is power you know and that is the only wealth you have that nobody can steal from you. How about you?

I love browsing at the library and reading in general. I could never afford to subscribe to so many magazines and buy so many books. You can always find interesting books to read! They also have music and DVDs at our public libraries. Can't beat this for free!

I go to the library at least once every two weeks. There is a kind of small one a few blocks from where I work, and I usually walk there on my lunch hour. The ladies there know me, so Idon't know if I'd be able to find my library card if I had to! I usually check out 3-5 books each visit. And some days I stop in there just to use the internet during my lunch hour because it is so much closer than running home.

I still enjoy going to the library sometimes, just to relax, kick back, and either read a book or work on schoolwork. There is always a lot for me to do there and I can always find time out of my schedule to get there and get a book, or do some internet work, or just study. It's still great to be able to check a book out and read it, either at home or at the library.

I LOVE our public library. My youngest is home schooled. At least once a week we head to the library to pick up books & other materials that support what we are working on that week. We also take advantage of art classes and story times offered for his age group when they happen. Now that libraries are online, it's so much easier than poking around for hours looking for what you need (although that can be fun at times too). We come up with out lesson plans about a week in advance. Then go on the library's system & reserve what we are looking for. Sometimes it can take some time if the materials are coming from an out of town library. They call us when the books come in and we make our trip to return last week's & pick up next week's materials.

I have been a library user since I was very young and went with my mum. Then it was in an old church and had an air of reverence and quiet. Our local library now is attached to the leisure centre and seems to be more of a drop in centre or internet cafe - it is very noisy. I still borrow books as my daughter gets through them faster than I can carry them home and now I get books on tapes for my mum too. I don't stay in there longer than I can help though.

My writing group meets at the local library twice a month. Sometimes I stop and scan the "new releases" bookshelf, or go to the computer to look for a book I am interested in. My children also attend the library frequently. I rarely take books out myself because I have enough around the house that will take me years to read. But if I really want to read a book and don't want to pay for it, I will go to the library. I will even ask the library to order it in if they don't have it.

Yes as a matter of fact I do. I love going to the library, it is a quiet place where I can relax and enjoy reading a magazine, the newspaper, or find a quiet spot and read a book before checking it out. My daughter loves the library as well and we often used to go together and sit in the common area and just read or talk quietly together about things we see in the magazine or newspaper on current events.

I used to use the library all the time and I would actually reserve books online and pick them up at the library near work. But, then I would end up taking too many books out at once and I felt pressure to read to fast. Now I do paperbackswap.com or ebay and sell them back.

There's a few public libraries in my area, but the largest is one right on my way home from school; it's a gorgeous 5-story high glass building, with loads of books in multiple languages. It also has a great view of the busy streets below, with windows composing the entire perimeter of the building, so you're always looking outside. A great place to relax and study.

I live 3 blocks from a gorgeous Public Library but I never go there. I do all of my reading on the internet and have a lot of ebooks that I use whenever I get the urge to read which isn't often. Since the internet came into being a lot of the libraries in my area have closed down which to me is sad because I think that is taking away from the very younger children who are still learning.

I used to go to the library when my kids were more managebale. I love reading and miss having that time to browse through and reall check out the books instead of running in to grab whatever I can as fast as I can before they knock over something! I agrre. Reading is Knowledge, and knowledge is power. It is one of the best ways to educate ones self.

I used to go there, but when Internet was introduce, I seldom go there. Thinking of the time I will spend in going to the Library, I'd settle for sitting in my personal PC and do the research right away. After finding my research item, I copy, save and print. PRESTO, my working time was lessened. to almost 70%.

I like reading but I seldom go to the library. As today it's easy to use internet and I can find so many books via the net easily. Besides, I can read books from my cellphone and it's much more convenient. Because I don't have to carry heavy books all the time.
