The picture shows Shambo who lives in a monastry in South Wales. The Department for Food, Environment and Rural affairs (DEFRA) is threatenning to kill Shambo because they suspect he is suffering from bovine TB. However the test carried out is inconclusive and the Vet has confirmed that Shambo is free of the disease. Please visit http://www.wevalulife.org to get more details and to sign a petition to stop DEFRA from killing Shambo.

DEFRA and MAFF had to kill thousands of animals during the foot & mouth outbreak a few years ago. My brother was involved with that and witnessed some truly horrific sights that still disturb him now. Just because this bull lives with some publicity seeking buddhists, it doesn't give them the right to jeopardise the health of other animals in the area and our beef and dairy farming industry generally. These people are attempting to stir up sympathy and get people on the band-wagon to save a cute little moo-moo that the mean government man wants to kill. Most cows are killed eventually anyway - that's life!
