Hello, thefuture,I think education may not be a must to success,it is used by the society to label people according to different level of education. There may be many successful people who may not be well educated, they may not even have good jobs at the beginning, but they work hard, save money and use their business acumen to earn more money and become sucessful. I think persoanlity is the most important thing for sucess,if you think you can be sucessful, set a definite goal and work hard for it,you will be sucessful one day,Work hard for the future:) Good luck.

If you define success by status and money then education by itself will not make you successful. I am well educated with a MS in counseling but the counseling profession is not one that pays much. However, I am a success because I was able to get an education even though I am poor.

I have an education - and MS in computer science, and I worked in my field, I was also a single Mom. One day, just as my son was about to graduate high school, and I was thinking I could go back to school and refresh my skills, I lost my job. Now I have a useless education, technology has changed, I don't have time or money to go back to college and co-op or whatever else it takes to become a new hire again. I try to find jobs in other fields, and I am now way over-educated and underpaid for what I know. There is so much more I could do, but am limited by experience by age. By so many jobs going to other countries. A good education is only as good as an employer sees it. If they can go to a 3rd world country and pay a quarter of the amount they pay me, for someone who can not do what I can, they do care, they can still hire someone else to do less then I did.

Yes, this is a truism if education is considered in general terms to include both formal and informal education, western or eastern, traditional or modern. Education means knowledge in whatever form. With knowledge, man is prepared for the challenges of life and living. A child that has been well educated has got the best legacy to succeed in life. Similarly, a nation that educates its citizens has lefdt a legacy of progress and development. An ignorant child or nation would not be able to manage and regenerate any inherited wealth, and so will not be able to leave any valuable resources for the succeeding generations. Without education, the society will perish from ignorance.

well, i think its not really the case.. you may have all the best education in the world.. but if you don't use it wisely, or if you don't use it at all, then theres no success with it. what matters is how you use the education you've had. . Bill Gates was a dropout, but he's earning multi-billion dollars while sitting comfy on his chair.. . Albert Einstein was a slow learner, yet, he's the greatest of them all.. . Alfred Novel, well.. we got the Novel Price after him, and he's responsible for inventing Blasting Caps for dynamites, which killed millions after inventing it.. . as i said, it all depends on how you use it.. c",)

Education has it's own merits. To find out our way in life, we have to select the course suitable to fullfill our ambitions. Now a days education is most expensive and not affordable to even middle class families. It is really a vicious circle.
