How should radioactive waste from nuclear power stations be disposed of?
This is not for a discussion for or against nuclear power as I've already done that (http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1078447.aspx) but about getting rid of the waste that has already been produced and will be produced for a long time to come.
Even if nuclear power production stopped tomorrow more waste would be produced for years - what should we do with it?
Some ideas to discuss include: burial; dumping at sea; sending into space etc.
Which do you think are the best/worst ideas?

Well I would want to know if there is any other useage for this radioactive 'waste' Maybe it could be used for medicine or research or any other things...maybe we have to start looking at alternative uses...sort of recycling.
