yesterday my mother in low's sister came to us from america,we where talking and making discussion about culture and lifestyle over there,suddenly she said," you will never get job over there."i was surprised to hear it such a mannerless person,i never had an idea to go america and find a good job over there.my daughter is a software eng.in new york ,is she jelous?

Maybe if that happens again you should ask her why did she came up with that statement? That is to clear things up before you give your reaction.

No, maybe she just wanted to tell you it would be difficult for you to find work there because she knows your daughter is there and thought that you may be wanting to go to live with her?
