I really like 4. I don't mind it's all set in Egypt, that's a plus for me. I just felt that they got the right balance as 1,2 were easy, 3 was a nightmare and 4 was just right.
AOD is the worse, not just for the storyline but the actual controls which were even by tomb raider standard a complete nightmare. I'm looking forward to seeing underworld and hope they use the full capability of the PS3.

Angel of Darkness was a bit off to me as well. The graphics wre the first that were really great. I loved the fact that you controlled the outcome of the game. Every choice had an inverse reaction to it. That part was great.
They just tried to be too different with Tomb Raider I thought. Having a choice was a good idea but it was a bit short.

I love all of it... There's a darker story, a darker Lara and she's suspected in homicide, I find all these things intriguer.
Than there's the Nephilim's issue, all the mystery and the strange things that happens during the game...
It's just a pity that there are a lot of bugs and the gameplay is quite horrible, but unlike almost all TR fans I think it's the best Tomb Raider of ever.

I remember when that one came out. I actually bought a Playstation 2 just to play that game. I was really looking forward to what all would be in it. I loved the extra content that came with the game. Very cutting edge at the time. Not a bad game either.

The very first Tomb Raider game is the best, because the next ones weren't able to capture that "all new" feeling really. Also, seeing that T-Rex rush out for the first time is one of the greatest moments in video games ever. (even if afterwards you realize the Playstation would make a loading sound with the disk right before anything big, tipping you off)

I had the first two for PC years ago. I really loved them both. I haven't played any of the games since then, I have no idea how many of them there are!?

Well all the gamez versions are too gud to play!! They are amzing and i believe LEGENDs is the best coz i still havent played Aniversary

Tomb raider chronicles was really tough and i liked it a lot. Tomb raider II was also quite good.
But Tomb raider legend for playstation 2 is the best so far. Its got superior graphics and some new things were introduced to enhance the gameplay of Tomb Raider games. The only backdrop was that it was way too easy.

I used to think it was the second. But then I played it Waaaayy to much and now it just annoyes me. I'm not sure which one is the best now. But i know for a fact it is not the fourth cos that was just a million levels of egypt which got annoying.
So i would say either the first or the third were the best i guess.

Mine would have to be Tomb Raider 3 because it simply was the best Tomb Raider.
