How many jobs?

I was just wondering how many jobs you all have had. I have had so many that my husband calls me a job jumper. Ok, I've had three different jobs in the last year, but the first one was just a temp job, the second one was aweful because it was 12 hour shifts at night, and now I have the third one in a bakery, which isn't a bad job. My very first job was when I was 14, I cleaned schools in the summer, I did that for three summers. Then I was a dispatcher for a volunteer ambulance when I was 17. I worked in a convenience store, as an office manager for a detective agency, I sold life insurance, I worked in a deli, and as a data processor for a real estate company. I have also worked in a bookstore, I was a General Manager for a bakery for years, I worked in a plant making pizza shells and waffles. What else? I was once an at home care worker, a Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing home, and a Med Tech in an assistant living home. I counted socks for a living, I was also a picker/packer in a warehouse, then I did work orders in the same warehouse. Yeah, guess my hubby has a point. LOL But these jobs have also spanned 28 years of my life, and I also spent a number of years as a stay-at-home mom.

I have worked since 15 I am now twenty one. I worked at the St. Louis Zoo for two summers. Then At a local Pizza place from 2001-2005. I worked at circuit city, Burlington Coat Factory, Express, Blockbuster, Geico, Motherhood Maternity, Culpeppers. I think that is it. I have had many jobs It wasn't because I had problems, but my hours would get cut and I wasn;t making enough. I had to pay my bills and for college. I did not have time for a job that was giving me pennies.

The zoo sounds like a fun job. I left the convenience store for that reason, I was a single mom of three and my boss cut my hours to practically none. I really liked that job, but I needed to take care of my kids.

You have had a great variety of jobs! I think it is pretty cook to have all of the experiences that you have. I wish I could do that...I have worked for the same company for 14 years. I am vested in retirement and have too many years in to change jobs at this point. My first job was cleaning offices, then I taught dance, I worked in 2 or 3 restaurants, then I tutored and worked in an office at a school. Now I teach. I have also mystery shopped and merchandised. Most of the jobs were well over 8 years ago...I have almost always worked a full-time and part-time job.

My first kinda job only lasted a week, I quit. I worked at the fair one year when I was seventeen. My second job was a sailor in the Navy. My third job was as a stocking shelves at night at Target. That lasted for almost three years before I quit. I have not worked since.

I've had three jobs. I first started working when I was 15 at a local McDonalds (which was horrible, I only lasted 6 months), then I worked at a department store for 10 months. I was 17 when I got my next job, in a supermarket, and I liked it so much that I stayed for three years. I moved to France when I was 19 and I haven't really had a job since apart from writing a few freelance articles and making money through the web.

I have two jobs after I graduated. The first one is as a research assistant in the university where I study. And now I'm working as R&D Exective in an environmetal company. I've been working here for almost 2 years and I'm looking for another job now because I can't stand my boss anymore.

Lets see ...... when I was 14 till I was 17 I worked on a horse farm, when I was 16 I got a job at a local burger joint, when I was 18 I got a job at Pizza Hut and went into management training there and got my own set of keys, I was still working at the burger joint too both full time, Then when I was 19 I quit the burger joint and got married and quit my pizza hut job when I was too sick to do it while pregnant, then I provided daycare in my home for 3 years till I went back to work at a service station working the graveyard shift for a year, then I worked seasonal temp for walmart, then I worked in housekeeping at a motel, then I bacame a baker/cake decorator and worked for one company for 5 years and then another for 2 years, then I went back to school for 3 years, then I opened my own in home daycare for 2 years, then I went back to walmart for almost 2 years as a deli lead, then we moved out of state to FL where I got a job in a Kcafe, then I went into training with H and R Block and that is what I do seasonally still and I own my own website where I sell my ceramics. So let me count so that is 13 different jobs over the span of 22 years.

Wow! I'd say you have skills. lol. You know a little bit of everything. That comes in handy. I have had like 5 jobs. My first job was when I was 17 as a cashier at Burger King. hehe. Then I became a cashier at Eckerds. Then I worked for more than 6 years at a law firm as a real estate paralegal. I also worked as hostess at a restaurant. And now I am currently working again as a real estate paralegal (my official career) at another lawfirm which specializes in commercial real estate.
