Do you like making phone calls?

I hate making phone calls!! Having to wait to talk to someone and then try to get them to fix whatever problem you have!! I avoid it if I can! I usually pout and make my husband do it, he doesn't like it either. When I was like 18 and 19 I would have my mom call for me even though I didn;t like at home anymore!! She didn't mind at all! I will avoid it if I can!!

I absolutely hate it. If I could avoid it I definantly would. I hate the phone at the best of times, let alone ringing up companies, I get so nervous.

I usually have the ole hubby do it for me if he is around. I just panic for some reason. If I do have to make them I end up waiting till the last minute to do it and then I stumble all over my words as I am talking to them. I thought I was the only one who did not like to do it.

I have no problem making calls- I actually call places for my mom too- If there is a problem I’ll be the one to call and straighten it out- I make a lot of calls for work- I’m an accountant and I handle Accounts Receivable (calling customers) and Accounts payable- calling vendors, phone companies, credit card companies. So I have had a lot of practice- My favorite call in a long time was to a landlord- We own now so it’s been a bit- he was giving me problems about getting my deposit back- He was a total As$ on the phone so I sent out a great certified letter- informing him if I didn’t receive my deposit back in 5 business days he would hear from my lawyer next. His wife called the day they got it- and apologized. See I like to call and get things straightened out- Want me to call the housing office- LOL

I hate making phone calls like that, too! Especially tricare. Ugh. My husband usually makes the phone calls here, because he is a lot nicer after being on hold for 30 minutes than I am. lol

Im mega scared of the phone, i like to text people, when i did work experience i worked in a vets and i had to answer the phones, i messed up big time because i paniced so yea i dont like talking to people on the phone unless its like my mum or another person i know well is calling

I try to get out of it but usually don't. I pay the bills so I practically have to write my hubby a speech in order for him to call. It is just easer to do it myself most of the time. However, if there is a mistake on the bill he usually calls. He does not like our money wasted and usually gets that job taken care of quite nicely!

No, I have no problem making phone calls, and I think I am pretty good at it.

I have always handled all the business calls in my family. My hubby hates doing it and gets flustered when collectors get mean with him. I love it. I can dish it out twice as bad as most collection agents and I have actually made on cry before. That company has never called us back so I guess that was a good thing. I don't like making the calls, but they have to be done, so I do it. I call to set up appointment, make complaints, etc. Most of the companies I deal with have already learned that as long as you treat me with respect, I will work to resolve all the issues in a way that is pleasing both to me and the company. I am willing to compromise when I need to. But start treating me bad, and I will go over your head and straight to corportate officers. I don't play.

Oh, I HATE to make phone calls to companies. Partly because I know more than likely that I'll be put on hold. The other part is because I hate talking on the phone, period. :P But I know my husband won't do it, so that leaves me to do the 'dirty work'. LOL Oh well, I still get nervous when making these calls, but now I get more annoyed rather than nervous when making them, especially if it takes longer than it should.

I don't mind it. My husband used to make me do it all of the time, as he was in charge at work and was the one making all of the calls...he just got tired of dealing with people!

i do make calls by myself. why to fear from any one . we pay fot htis service and they have to givr the service . remove this fear from your heart and enjoy life.

I hate making phone calls of any nature. I usually get my sister to do it for me (we live together). She's not keen on it either but manages far better then me. If I'm on the phone I just get very flustered. I also hate talking on the phone when they call here. To be honest if possible I wouldn't even have one if I didn't need to do to how society is now a days. You need one for so many things that it's just not possible not to have one especially with a 12 year old in the house.

Yes, this is true that sometimes i am afraid of making official calls. And i hate it to make calls at those places where i never wanted to call. As i am not doing any job as i am a student, so i face this problem when i am suppose to call my teachers.

i've got no problem when it comes to making phone calls to utility companies. i like doing it especially when i am calling to complain about inefficient serviceLOL. you just have to get ready with your questions so you would be in control of the conversation.

I have the same feeling as yours. I always get nervous before making calls to anyone who's not familiar with me. What's more, I am also afraid of face-to-face talking to strangers, especially for business. I always make some prepration ahead, like what I have to ask, how to start the conversation, which questions to ask first and which of them following, etc.

I have problems talking on the phone too!! I hate making as well as receiving calls. I tend to be panic and kinda stutter when I talk. Besides, my heart beats very fast too. I don't know why and I can't control it. Besides, I will wait until there's nobody around me when I make a call. I don't feel comfortable when there's someone besides me when making a call!!

Hi,4cuteboys. Mmm,I think making phone calls to other people with business purposes is not as easy as I imagined.I do think I may be a little nervous.I will prepare for what I want to say and make a short note on a piece of paper.Then I will make a phone call.
