Is it the beginning or the end that makes you nervous?

My wife gets really antsy when it comes to change. For her, it's the fear of the unknown, the new beginning of life events (such as moving, buying a house, starting a new school, etc.) that makes her the most nervous. For me, it's the end - the end of school, the end of a job, moving out of a place. Once I've decided the end is near, I'm done with it in my head - but in reality, I'm NOT done and usually have to do a lot of i-dotting and t-crossing before I'm actually finished. And that's what makes me nervous - is not being able to get all those things done in time to start the new life event. I wonder if it's a difference between boys and girls or just between people.

I feel the same as your wife - I hate change and its the fear of the unknown that I hate as once the change has happened, its not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. If we could learn to accept change as part of our life, it would make our life so much easier.

For me I think the beginning, which makes me wonder about is it a male/femle thing. HMMMM? That is interesting because my husband is just the opposite. Maybe we can talk the government into doing multimillon dollar testing on it? lol
