Does anyone still watch John Wayne?

I watch his movies every now and again. Do you or do you not like his movies?

yes, me and hubbie like those old movies. the westerns are great and makes one think of how life was way back then. could you imagine no internet

Your correct on make one think about how life was back then. It really makes me think and also what about no cell phones? lol.. I guess we wouldn't have to worry about someone running over us while talking on the phone. Thanks for your response

You bet! Some of John Wayne's movies are really great. That said, I can not stand most of the ones made before WWII, the really early ones. Gosh, some of those really really stink. A few of the later ones aren't too good either. Fortunately in the later years there are many more good ones than bad ones. I do still very much like HONDO, NORTH TO ALASKA, THE COWBOYS, THE TRAIN ROBBERS, SHE WORE A YELLOW RIBBON, THE SHOOTIST and many more I can't remember right now.
