How long will you wait for a table in a restaurant or cafe?

My hubby is impatient and we don't wait anywhere in line for a table. Before him I would wait for a table. No more than perhaps 15 minutes but I would wait, after all it must be good food if there is a line up. Sometimes I was wrong and the reason for the line-up was bad service and bad food. Will you wait or go somewhere else?

If you are waiting at a restaurant it's probably prime time for dining in which case if you left and went to another place you would probably wait there too. So I usually make the decision to go where I want but check out right away how long the wait is. Usually it's not really as long as they tell you because they are giving themselves a cushion of time in case some stay later.

I would not love to wait for long just to find a place in a particular eating joint. There are a number of them with good clean preperation and i wont mind searching if i have a lesser waiting time in others. If so i would move to that place rather than waiting for my turn. I carry the numbers of places i love to eat at in my mobile and getting an update on the seat availability would not be a problem for me.

I do not want to wait at all..I hate that I am so impatient about some things!..my hubby will wait forever..that is why he likes to fish..if the fish aren't biting he can sit there until he gets a little nibble..me, gosh..after 5 minutes no bite..I'm ready to go home!..

Usually its about15-20 minutes, its depends with your order. And sometimes they give something for us to eat while waiting for the food.
