Somehow, I feel as if I have been bouncing back my entire life. Events seem to come and go every so often. I easily recover, but never fully get past the disasters. I mean I get get to the point where traumatic events no longer have any power over me. I think there is such a point that one can get to in life.

you are right. I always enjoy your posts. I think you do get to that point and probably bounce back faster because of it. Appreciate you sharing that with us...

I don't really have any advice on bouncing back. There are times I can without a problem but then again there are times when serious problems come out of the blue and I have no idea how to fix things. I just try to take it one step at a time. There are times when I have thought I was fine with it all and then suddenly I'm falling to pieces. Each situation is different and there is no telling for me how I'll manage.

With quick traumatic incidents, I usually hold strong for everyone else then one day out of the blue, out it all rushes. I'd advise folks that are this way to try and find some quiet time to let it out before that happens. It's long-term stressful, periodic emotional traumas that I tend to dwell on. I'm hoping one of your respondents has some advice for that. Good discussion, btw.

I absolutely do bounce back from adversities. My faith only makes me stronger.
