After much speculation a familiar character returns to Llanview. Actress and soap newcomer Justis Bolding has landed the contract role of Sarah Roberts on "One Life to Live," according to TVGuide.com. The role of Tina and Cord's daughter was last played by Shanelle Workman from 2003-2004. Sarah's return is linked to her uncle Todd Manning's disappearance, according to a recently released casting call for the role. It has also been speculated that Sarah's love interest will be none other than Cristian Vega. Sarah was last seen leaving Llanview to receive treatment for her vocal cords following an attack by the Music Box Killer in early 2004. Known at the time as "Flash," Sarah was a singer in a rock band. This time around, however, the music angle will likely be dropped. Bolding has recently completed a demo recording for a new musical, "Swimming Upstream," where she took on the role of Sally Jo. She has appeared on-camera in commercials, industrials, and independent films, and her voice can be heard on the radio for various voice-overs. Bolding works with her dogs in her spare time and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. In addition, Bolding has appeared on Broadway in the musical drama "The Woman in White." In the production, which ran from November 17,2005 to February 19, 2006, she played the role of 'Corn Dolly Girl.' Bolding's television credits include an appearance as Sandra in an episode of MTV's "Undressed" in 2002; Karlee in a 2005 episode of "7th Heaven"; and a Hostess in a 2006 episode of "Days of Our Lives." Before Bolding was cast in the role of Sarah, former "DAYS" actress Farah Fath reportedly screen tested for the role before being cast as a new character. Look for Bolding to first air as Sarah Roberts on June 14th.
