the fact that it is the 15 yr anniversary of my fathers suicide. i write for my local paper and had two stories to cover today. i didnt think that it would be a long day really or that these stories would amount to anything huge but i was wrong!! i covered career day at the junior high this morning and then the science fair in the evening. i write for a small paper that a bigger paper owns. the paper i write for is a weekly publication. the career day story is going to be run in the bigger daily paper tomorrow morning!! that is such a big stepping stone for me. more money and being in the big paper is a good career move as i am still in college. i am a journalist major. i have three more semesters left. so to be published in the areas big daily paper, that is such a great honor and privilege. i am so excited to get the paper tomorrow. i am acting like a little kid in a candy store...lol. just wanted to share my good news!!!
