I've heard that a site sells plancton as seafood for humans... is it true?

Is it healthy? And what about whales are they going to get starved?

Manatee - Manatees like plancton, too
Plancton is very high in many nutrients, and this current health fad was developed in Japan. It should be very good for you, and you don't need much. As I understand it, this plancton is farmed, and not taken from the sea stocks, so it should have no impact on the oceans whale population and food chain.

Very interesting answer, thank you! I'm wondering how can they grow up artificially plankton, it seems to me very difficult! I like all the new food and I think that if it is safe and it does not damage the oceanic ecosystem, as you told me, I'll try it as soon as possible. bye

I'm not as brave as you are, but would love to hear your opinion of plancton, once you've tried some. Please come back to this question, with your thoughts and opinions.

I have not heard of plankton for humans. Maybe the whales are already starving and that is why those 2 whales headed up the Sacramento river in California. They are looking for handouts!
