The price of gasoline is at record levels, so what does are pompous Governor of Wisconsin want to do about it? Raise the gas tax by 7 cents a gallon! The state already gets more than twice the amount that the oil companies make, and he calls that "robbery".. well King Doyle, if that is robbery then your taxation must be a total shakedown. With "Relief" like yours, who needs tyranny!

I guess overthrowing the government is out of the question, and impeachment would take too long, so how long before he is up for reelection? I don't see how a move like that is going to help his chances of retaining office. What is the reason for the increase? Are the roads in need of repair, or did he just decide the state needed more money?

It's all part of his $1.74 Billion budget. The thing is, the foolish democrats of this state Re-Elected him knowing he was under indictment for fraud, openly lied about his opponent and ignored federal investigators findings of illegal voting. In other words, they wanted a criminal to represent this state.

In other words, it is politics as usual. It's good to know that state government works much the same as the US government does. Maybe after he leaves office he should take residency in New York and run for Senator. That seems to work fairly well.

Governor Jim Doyle - Just another reason to vote Republican.
Question: Does the state government of Wisconsin drill one oil well? Does it refine one gallon of gas? Or does it market gas? The answers to these questions are no. Every gallon of gas that is taxed in your state just like every other state in the union is pure profit. Everyone likes to demonize Exxon Mobile, and the other oil companies. But people lets understand this on every gallon of gas that you buy from them they only make 5-8 cents of pure profit a gallon. Government makes anywhere from 34 cents all the way to 82 cents a gallon. The government wants everybody to buy gas more than the gas industry wants you to buy gas. They make more money than the oil companies do off the sale of gas. Think of it like this; if Exxon Mobile profits $6 Billion, the government on average is profiting $60 billion, and then it taxes Exxon Mobile so not only is government responible for gas prices they are also making money from the profits of the oil companies. So to sum it all up government wants you to buy as much gas as possible, and wants oil companies to make as much money as possible. Thank you liberal democrates for such a fine tax system.

Yup, the government is the one sticking it to us, and we have people begging the government to stick it to us more!
