What are your plans for the upcoming holiday weekend?

I am heading to West Virginia to place flowers on my mother's grave. Sounds kinda sad but it's a long time tradition to place flowers on our loved ones' graves. Plus we will be spending time with our family who still live down there. Which I think will really help me with all my depression issues. We also found out we will be able to pick up my husband's son for the summer! It's been a year since we have seen him so I know my hubby is very excited. What are you going to do? Any family traditions?

No real plans, probably over to my family's for some BBQ, but nothing else, except Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Hopefully, it's playing on the IMAX out here. If not, I'm okay seeing it in a regular theater. But that's about it. When I was younger, we used to go to the Los Angeles area every year to visit my aunt's grave, but we don't go anymore. No other real traditions for that weekend.

I think that is absolutely wonderful that you and your husband will get to see and spend the summer with his son...especially after so long....a whole year....I am sure that he is excited too!! We used to go and place flowers on our loved one's graves as well...but will not be able to do so this year....we will be staying at home. I hope that you have a good time with your family...I think it is the perfect "medicine" for your depression!! I am so happy for you...Be safe!!

while I am sure that finances are an issue...in light of all that is happening in your life right now....BUT being able to pick up your step-son and seeing family will do your heart so much good....I just know it will allow you to come home and "deal" with things with a new refresh view..... You and your family remain in my thoughts and prayers....
