Would you date someone that you met here on Mylot?

This website is similar to Myspace and all the other websites like Tag World, E-Harmony, and that online High School Class Mates website. Well, I think I would! Now don't get me wrong. It's not my sole purpose for being here but even though this is the internet, mylot sounds like a community with many people to trust. This is just my opinion. Let's here yours! What do you think?

If I were single, I would consider it. I met my husband online over 8 years ago now. It was in a chat room for college students, but neither of us went into it looking for a romantic connection. The more we talked, the more I felt close to him... and eventually I decided that I loved him. =) I've never been big on those dating sites because so many people lie on them, and because there are so many things it's easier to get to know about people if you are friends than if you are dating.

Yeah that's true. I find it more difficult to know some one who I'm interested in dating then if I just wanted to be there friends.

I do not think it is ever a wise thing to meet with people you've not seen face to face but only here. This place, the internet, is a nest full of weird and sometimes even dangerous people. There are better ways to meet people than online:)
