Are you altering your travel plans this summer because of the price of gasoline? I am limiting my travel around town, but still plan to fulfill my original plans for a couple different vacations during the summer. What about you?

Absoultly I am. I dont think we should give them money its bad enough we have to just to go to work. Im so mad I could spit. So now I wont take a vacation this summer. Just because of the gas prices. And I wish everyone else would do the same as me maybe then our prices would go down. We all have to stick together.

perhaps if everybody only bought just as much gas as they needed daily, instead of filling up every few days, they would get the hint, If they only get $5 here and there instead of the $80 it takes to fill the tank, they might reconsider the fraudulent prices and lies

Yes, I have already altered our vacation plans as gas is just not even reasonable. Our gas prices are $3.69 per gallon right now and I am just refusing to fill up with those kinds of prices. I will put enough in to get to work and run errands but now I try to combine everything into a couple of trips. It is sad that the kids are suffering with vacations because the oil companies are being so greedy!!

I really don't have any travel plans, so I guess I'm not changing them lol. But I will try to drive less. That shouldn't be hard considering I will be at work all the time! Lol...oh well, I guess it's better to be inside working, making money, then outside spending money lol.

I was planning on getting my licence and buying a car this year, but with the price of gas AND insurance this year, I'm going to fix my bicycle instead. There is no place I need to go that the bus doesn't get me to, or is within walking distance

Well I don't own a car. Although the price for homes went up very high for what's used I personally feel it's about time we found something else which could be used. ~Joey

I am not altering my travel plans because I am going to see my son and I have not seen him since Christmas. He lives in Montana and I live in Michigan. It is over 1600 miles away.

I am still going on vacation. I have been planning my shopping trips very carefully so that I am not going in circles wasting gas. I even try to get all my shopping done in one day. There are minor things we can do to cut down on gas expense. My mom and I share the burden by one day she will drive and the next time we go I will drive. The gas prices here have reach $3.05 now.

No we are still planning some get aways with our kids! My husband will go insane if he doesn't get out of town every few months. He is going to take our kids to visit his grandparents soon, and I am staying hoem!! I can't wait for the vacation, even though I am staying home. We just won't have as much spending money when we do travel because the gas gobbles up way too much!! It finally got over $3 a gallon here, I wonder how bad it is everywhere else. I know we use to be pretty low compared to other states.

I have changed the way I use my car during the last 1-2 years, since gas prices have risen. I rarely go out of my way to go anywhere unless I have to....I stretch it all as far as it goes. I also stay home much more.

we already had our trip to baguio and subic and alot of places. i think it's best if you travel midnight or early dawn to avoid traffic in cities and to save money on your fuel consumption.
