Whats your fav type of weapon?

Is it just me or does anyone else have an intrest in weapons, not nesscarily for use. I want to have a collection of them when i'm older, and wanna be a fire arm specialist- which should fit in perfectly. I love hand to hand weapons the best. My fav being the tonfa, sais, dual blade fighter and of coure the katana.

My fav weapons are all hand to hand combat, none of this long ranged stuff lol, things like the bo staff, tonfa, sais, katana, wazakashi((sp?)), daggers things like these, i would love to have a sword collection but being only 16 and living with parents kinds of restricts me lol

so no wat u mean. My dad has a few bows i'm pretty crap at using them, turns out my aims sucks so hand to hand combat weapons are for me. My brother has a broad sword it is so cool, i'm like so jelaous. :(

My parents wont let any kinds of weapons, im not even aloud to have a staff!! I mean i have to use a broom stick for a staff and kitchen knives for daggers! I did bow training once, i didnt like it thats when i decided to go for clase range stuff

I actually have a fantasy-style broadsword, though is only ornamental (blunt as a finger), i also had a set of katana's, and i am quite good at aiming a bow, (though ive only tried it in our back yard, so i dont kow about long range)

i havent actually thought bout were i'll work as i'm only 16. I'll probally have to go to england for university courses so that would help me to get to no the area-but not for another two years though.

japanese swords, and japanese weapons without an edge, for example, bo, tonfa, jo, nunchakus, etc. but i prefer to fight using martial arts like aikido, karate and jiujutsu, im a multi-japanese martial arts student
