I lived in St.John's, Newfoundland for 2 years . I met a lot of wonderful people there and made some good friends. Newfoundlanders like to tell jokes on themselves. My friend sent me this joke today . " Last year I replaced all the windows on my house with those epensive double pane energy efficent kind.Yesterday I got a call from the contractor who installed them . He was complaining that the windows had been installed a whole year ago and I had not paid for them yet . Helloooo , just because I am from Newfoundland does not mean that I am automatically stupid. So I told him what his fast-taking sales guy told me last year.Namely that in just one year those windows would pay for themselves . Hellooo I told him - it has been a Year ! There was only silence at the other end of the line . So I finally hung up . He has not called back , probably too embarassed about forgetting the gurantee that they made me . I bet he won't underestiamte a Newfoundlander anymore " LoL , I roared at this joke, it is just too funny "
