Any effect while/after reading Richard Bach?

Inspired By Richard Bach - After reading "Jonathan Livingstone Seagull" by Richard Bach i was inspired. I went out and took some pictures of seagulls. At that time i looked at them differently - i tried to find that special seagull who wants to learn how to fly. But mostly it was only a bunch of screaming and annoying birds.. he he ;)

I've read this book probably 6-7 times, and everytime i read it i always find something new. But the most interesting thing that i physically feel better and emotionaly much happier after reading it. Is this me or this book has a magic power?;) The same thing is with "Illusions". That book is almost like a bible to me, he he;))) Picture: After reading "Jonathan Livingstone Seagull" ii was inspired. I went out and took some pictures of seagulls. It's one of the classic books my University required us to read. I never really thought too much what it meant way back then, but I was learning, and when I grew more in years I get to look back and just realized a whole lot to learn from it that you can really apply in your real life. And now it's one of my motto, flying high! ^^ ciao!

Richard Bach has always inspired his readers to dream beyond one's powers. Hope more of our young people will engage themselves into reading and reflection such that they will see the goodness of the Lord even behind the darkest moments of our lives.

Illusions will always be one of my favorite books in the whole world. The very first time I read it (when I was probably 10 or 11 years old) I felt an instant attachment to it. I read it on the recommendation of an older teenaged friend, and afterwards he and I and several of our other friends talked about nothing else for days. Every time I read it, I would find something new. And you know that opening up the book randomly thing that he says you can do with any book? I tend to do it with that book if I do it, and every time I've found something useful. I did like Jonathon Livingston Seagull as well. I read it before I had too much experience with seagulls (I had seen them but not had to deal with them on a daily basis) so I didn't have to worry about starting out with a prejudice. However, I do have to admit that now that I live somewhere with a lot of them, I think they're annoying too. I see Jonathon not as a seagull at all of course, but as a spirit, like the spirits within any animal or person, so not liking seagulls doesn't really affect my enjoyment of the book.
