I should be doing something else!

Sometimes I really feel as if I am addicted to Mylot. I would spend a lot of time and sometimes with out even participation in a discussion, just reading other people's views and thoughts specially about a topic i don't have much knowledge about. It gives me food for thought, something to research, to know more, to study and to rise above my pathetic knowledge. Sometimes when i see other people's problems, I feel so thankful to GOD that my problems are nothing compared to others and still i am not as much thankful as i should be, I pray for people that their problems get resolved. when my family and child were here, I had no time to do anything else as they won't let me do anything else, not because they don't allow but because i don't want to spend time anywhere else at the cost of my time with my family, they are so loveable:-). When they went back to home country, I felt so alone that mylot was really a cure for my loneliness. Now it has become a mixture of timepass as well as a source for interesting areas to research and to know people from around the world. I also enjoy it because i made wonderful friends who share some common values and interests like my own. I don't know, how much time I'll be spending after my family comes back or if i'll be spending ANY time but I do appreciate the ideas and specially the friendship that Mylot has offered to me.

I don't really overindulge in mylot 'coz I keep a happy balance between other important things that I have to do. It's good that I have a household help who does all the cooking, washing clothes, cleaning the house. So that leaves me practically free--except that I have to check test papers, read the dailies (which for me is important to educators like me), report for work on weekdays, etc. Whenever I'm tired from mylotting, my break is to do all the important stuffs mentioned above. That way I don't neglect my other functions related to my job. In fact this afternoon, I'm going to my office to prepare lots of things because tomorrow would be a busy day for me.

I'm usually never doing anything productive when I'm online, whether I'm on mylot or some other place. There are some other things I should be doing right now, specifically working on some ways I can make some extra cash and not just with Mylot. Mylot is nice and all for a little extra pocket change, but there are a few other places I can earn a couple extra bucks a little faster than Mylot so I try and work there and work here some too so I can balance the things out. And, I also have other things to do besides making a living. Like cleaning and taking care of the number of growing pets this house has.

I just use it when I'm bored because there's nobody to talk to online. Basically I use it to relax because that's why I'm on the computer in the first place. I also use it for the little income it gives. Idk if it can even be called income, but yeah.

I think it's great. I've met some great people and am always learning things. YDS, one trick you might use, use MyLot as a reward for completing other tasks. That seems to work for me... hee!hee!

I know what you mean about going to bed early! that is the way I do all the time! I have found that i do lose track of time when I am here and my mind doesn't wonders as much so I am not stressing when I am here. I kinda forget about other things and the pain that i feel. so as to weather or not my lot is good for me or not I can not say but I sure do enjoying being here even if my house is getting dirty LOL have a great weekend
