This is the trend of shower-gels. The reason for choosing shower-gels over bar-soaps is obvious.
• Shower gels come with moisturizing care. They smoothens the dry skin and leaves the soft feeling even after bath.
• The another advantage of shower gel is its liquid form. Shower gels are like silk milks. The sufficient quantity can be taken into hands and applied to the entire body. Whereas with bar-soap ,you need to pick the entire soap bar into your hands.
• Shower gel do not spread any skin diseases if it is used by more than one person. Because it comes in a neat and covered container. If you consider the bar-soap, if any member of your family suffering from skin allergies and if s/he uses that soap then these allergies will spread easily to the other member who uses this soap. So ,single shower gel is perfect for entire family than that of ordinary soap.
• Some shower gels comes with extra hydro care balance formula which you may not find in ordinary soap bars.
• The fragrance is almost similar to that of shampoo. Since shower gel is the combination of liquid soap and perfumes, it always leaves a pleasant fragrance even after the bath. This fragrance last for hours, giving extra freshness.
• Another advantage of shower gel over soap-bar is wetness. Since shower gel is in the liquid form, it do not dry with the usage. No need to tell about the soap bar. it becomes dry if you do not use it for long time. It becomes like a paste if the soap box is wet or filled with even a little water.
These are the advantages I found in shower gels over the ordinary soap-bar. I forget to tell you that I use Kamill Shower gel, which comes with hydro balance care.
Do you use shower gel or bar soap? What do you think the benefits or disadvantes of either of the two are?
Tell all!

I personally like to use bar soap over shower gels. Since I live alone I don't worry about someone else using it and the few times there is someone who needs to use my shower I will break out a new bar for them. I have an Avon soap dish that keeps my soap practically perfect so it's never dry or pasty. I'm allergic to a lot of fragrances and love to use my Irish Spring or Lever soaps because I love the way they smell so clean and not flowery. There are benefits and disadvantages to both but this is what I prefer.
