Where are You? You Know Your Supposed To Meet Me Here!

I have never ever understood the word "Soulmate" What does it mean to you. I have a friend and we more often that not know excactly what the other is thinking. We will have the same ideas. We will buy each other things, not knowing that the other actually wanted that "thin" Sometimes it's scary. In a pleseant way I mean. One can be thinking of a city once visited and in less than 5 minutes the name of that city will be said out lound in some contecxt or other. What is all this? Is it got a name?

The concept of a soulmate was actually invented by Socrates as a philosophical joke. However, many people do believe in them and I see no reason not to believe in them. I've never heard anyone say that soulmates had ESP, though, I thought that was only twins. I think that's just redeculous. Soulmates are the kinds of people who have similar or identicle inherent traits in their personality like gentility, or affinity towards books or music. They also tend to finish each others' sentences and know what the other is feeling without asking. It does not mean that you will magically know where the other is at any given time, nor mind-read, nor that you'll never fight or disagree. You are two independant halves of a greater whole, not only one being. You have different minds and different identities.
