First off these will not apply to all Catholics or Protestants. It is a neat little quiz to think about. I'll put the answers on the bottom. You have to guest if the statement was more likely, or would be made by a Catholic or a Protestant. 1. "Every Christian is a preist who can communicate directly with God." 2. "Martin Luther and John Calvin are heretics" 3. "People can only get closer to God with the help of clergymen." 4. "Both faith and good works are required of a good Christian." 5. "The Pope has been more interested in politics and an extravagant lifestyle than in giving the Christian world the kind of leadership it needs." 6. "Leaders of nations in Europe who want to handle the religious matters within their own countries should be able to do so." 7. "A person should attend church, go on pilgrimages, and help the poor." 8. "Leaders of the Protestant Reformation are heors of the religious freedom" 9. "A person only neds faith in God's mercy to get into heaven." 10. "Only the Bible is free of error; man should depend on the Bible as a way to salvation." 11. "The pope is wiser and holier than other Christians" 12. "It is not right that a person can buy an important church position." 13. "The Reformation threatens to destroy religious unity in Europe." 14. "The selling of indulgences is wrong because it only makes church officials rich." ================== 1. Protestant 2. Catholic 3. Catholic 4. Catholic 5. Protestant 6.Protestant 7.Catholic 8.Protestant 9.Protestant 10.Protestant 11.Catholic 12.Protestant 13.Catholic 14.Protestant 15.Protestant ============== If you disagree or choose a different answer feel free to share with us your reasons and thoughts. :) - DNatureofDTrain

There is no # 15 As to #5 I do question that as I know the southern baptist don't view the Pope as a religious leader of any kind and there for don't look to him for leadership .I would think the people that see the pope as a leader would think this which is mostly catholics .

Not to be disrespectfull to your oppenion, but I kinda have to dissagree, Southern baptist do see him as a religious leader, however they do not see him as the infalable religious leader as the catholics do, Like wise Baptist do not see him as the leader of the church becouse that title belongs to Christ. And of course he is not the religious leader of the baptist. But to say baptist do not beleive he is a religious leader is wrong, the same as me saying, I don't like or agree with the things President Clinton said, so I do not beleive he was a president.

#15 I think is a One who is hiding from a fundamental Catholic? Laughs, Just kidding. I thought that looked odd, the rest of them look right. I can not look over my notes to see if there was a 15 or if I double typed a word and added a number.. I was going to add more, but the rest were rediculous but I sent it out to the trash already so I don't know now. Shrugs shoulders.. Sorry about that. Many Christians who are non-Catholics still look to the Pope a a Good man or a great leader. I looked up to the Popes for a long time, althought I disagree on many of their political views. I do love the spiritual teachings and ceremonies they do. Well, Thanks to you both for respondings. - DNatureofDTrain

When we were tested on it on school I had a couple of them wrong.. because I misread the question :). If you are familiar with both religions a little bit, they are pretty easy to tell the difference of. Thanks for responding, - DNatureofDTrain
