More Likely to Trust a Beautiful Person?

Imagine the person you feel is the most beautiful in the world... If this person tried to take advantage of you, do you think you would be more likely to let him? Whenever I see criminals on TV or in the paper, it seems many of them are very unattractive and scary looking. Then I wonder how I would feel if a very beautiful person tried to hurt me. Do you think you would be bothered less if a gorgeous man or woman hurt you or robbed you, or does this have absolutely no affect on your feelings? Personally I think I would be more likely to fall for a pretty face, but I'm quite a gullible person at times...

It's sad but true , I do believe that I would be more trusting of a beautiful person . Somehow when you see someone who is beautiful you automatically consider them innocent and can't imagine them doing anything bad or trying to hurt you somehow . Most of these people that con us are not only beautiful but incredibly intelligent and we want to believe in them and want to believe that they could never do anything that would harm us . Many of my friends have told me I am gullible and when it comes to someone that looks good or has a sob story , I fall for it everytime because I so want to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and don't want to distrust someone who comes across as nice .

I am the same way as you... I am sometimes too trusting of people in that way while my dad is very untrusting. Whenever I see someone who needs help I always want to assist them, while he always assumes that person is going to do something bad. But, maybe it is better to be gullible than to be paranoid? I'm not sure though.

for me, even that person has a good appearance but still his a bad person, i don't like him, it's really bothering for me..i think, we don't trust anyone, specially those people that we don't know that much..even our circle of friends, we don't know if they are really good person or they want to take advantage..i'm not that trusty to some people whom i really don't know, i'm afraid, specially to those who have unattractive looks..

Good morning, "Not all that glitters is gold", a very famous line by William Shakespere's merchant of venice.Yes never trust or hate someone simply because he/she is attractive or by looks , many a times I have found out a criminal looking face is really a face of an angel and sometimes the most hideous brain is inside the most beautiful face , so dont trust a person by his/her face-value but by his/her virtuesa nd deeds. HAve a great day ahead.
