banana - healthy banana
I think it is banana .I have heard from nutritionist that banana is one of the best fruits which we have & it is very cheap also. But apple gets all the hype. Also banana gives you more strength. It is only bad for those who have cough problem.

I guess it depends on what your eating it for. From what I know, bananas have more carbs, but apples have more sugar, which i guess is the biggest carb out there. I know that bananas take less time to digest than apples though. Personally I think Apples get all the attention - an apple a day keeps the Dr away, an apple from the teacher, the apple of my eye etc lol.

I know that bananas are a good source of potassium, but they're also quite fattening. You can just get your potassium from lemons instead (though I personally love bananas too much to give them up for lemons). I've read that apples have lots of fiber, as well as some vitamins to help you with your immune system. I've also read something about apples improving metabolism and assisting in weight loss, but I'm not sure. Weight loss would make sense, though, since they have so much fiber.
