Do you look at the toilet seat before you sit down on it?

hello there. :) of course i look down at the toilet seat before i pee/poop! lolz. especially that what we're talking about here is a public restroom. we dont know who used it, if they flushed or not, so i dont just go around peeing directly in public restrooms. i check the cleanliness of the toilet bowl first.
