Are you happy when you are made busy by the students?

Everyday after class, I would have to hurry to the bus stop to catch bus home in order to reach home a little bit earlier. But very often, I would be surrounded by several of the students asking questions of this kind of that kind and for many times I missed my bus and had to wait for another 20 minutes. But I never complained about that. I feel happy with my students when they ask me questions. Did you have such experience?

You are doing a great job mam. I am a student and therefore am not sure how you feel. But because you give your time to your students other than that in the class they start feeling that they are being cared and taken onto the right path. Nowadays, this kind of thing rarely happens. The teachers just give lectures for which they are paid for and the students attend the classes for attendence. If all the teachers around the world did the same way as you are doing then maybe the world will be a better place to live in. I am not trying to make you happy or something but this is what I think.
Regarding you being late to home let me tell you that some day a student of yours may help you when you are really in need of going early to home. This he may do not as to show he is kind or helpful in nature or something but because the time you had given him when he needed it the most.

Thank you for saying so. I can't agree with you more. One good turn deserves another. I do hope my students can understand me if one day I need their time :)

Well, of course we cannot have similar views on each and every topic. But I just tried to put across you the mentality of the students and how they take the extra time you give them. Nothing much....

I am a student and can really appreciate what you do. It is very good of you that you give some time to the students and I'm sure you have helped a lot of students by clarifying their doubts. There are a lot of teachers who are generally gruff and selfish and those teachers should really not be called teachers since teaching is about enlightening and clearing doubts. Keep up the great work ma'am. Cheerio.
