No we really cant afford the gas prices but we dont have any choice but to pay them. My husband has to get to work and the only way he is going to get there is by a car of our own. Believe me if there was a bus that went from my town to my husbands work he would be on it just so he didnt have to spend about $50+ a week in gas.

Same here, we don't live in an area where we have public transportation availiable and if you don't have a vehicle, you go nowhere....

I totally feel your pain. It is costing me about 55-60.00 for a fille up now and that does not even get me through a week with the amount of driving that I currently do for my job. It is hard. I am hoping that companies start to give a raise due to the cost of the gasoline. Or maybe we can all write it off on taxes. I do not know. I just know that I have friends that make less than I do that are definitely struggling. Its not only the gas though. The gas and because of the gas everything else is going up.. It is definitely having a negative impact on our income and amount we are able to save right now. Which is not a good thing.
