If you have not seen the season 3 finale of LOST, and want to be surprised... don't read this discussion...it will contain spoilers. Ok, you've been warned :-..... I'll admit that while I love LOST I often miss some of the little connections that happen. Last night we find out that Jack and Kate had a connection before they came to the Island (which makes me really want to go back to past seasons and watch their interactions more). Did we ever find out what that connection is? What are you guesses? So I guess they share that dead person in common (who is not Jacks Dad, and who he read about in the newspaper)...At first I wondered if they were related in some way, but the I remembered they've kissed before, so hopefully not. Any thoughts on their connection, and who the dead person was?

Last nights episode did not have flashbacks of Jack meeting with Kate, this was a "flash forward" of Jack's life after getting rescued from the island. He was telling Kate that there was a mistake and they "needed to go back" to the island. I was confused at first when Kate first walked up, I also thought it was a flashback, wondering the same thing, when did they meet previously and why am I just now finding out about it? But it wasn't, apparently Jack's life totally falls apart after being rescued and he wants to go back. Kate seems to be okay with it, obviously still with Sawyer (I assume) from her comment to Jack about "he'll wonder where I am". Very interesting finale, can't wait until next season!
