In what basis my number increases?

I had a doubt with the number that displays near by my name.Is that based on my disscusion that i posted or the number of responses that i receive? Help me

Hi Coolgeth. The number next to your name is both the discussions you have started (that have received responses) and the number of replies you have entered. You are currently at a 63 as I reply, but you should increase once I enter this reply. You get your star once you have accumulated 100+ posts. :)

Now i understood.Thanks for your information..When you got $10 what was your number.Also will i get any points when i comment.

I couldn't tell you, lol, I don't remember. :) My first payout wasn't for $10 though. It was actually over $20 because the cutoff is at the end of the month but the earnings keep increasing daily until you get paid (if you're active). As far as responses to the replies you get, no, you don't get credit for those, but the people that do reply like to know that you've at least read it and appreciate their comments, but it's more of a courtesy. :)
