I just realized that our cat has been scolding me. Yesterday our cat Jareth got shut in my grandson's bed room. He usually leaves the door open because she likes to set in the window in there. The door was accidentally shut when he went to school. Much later I heard her meowing at the door. When I let her out she went meow, meow, meow, meow, meow, as she went to her dish to eat. Now today my other grandson was practicing his piano and since it was rather loud I shut the door and she couldn’t get into my room. When I opened the door for her she did the same thing. meow, meow, meow, meow, meow as she goes and lays down. She likes to have all the doors open. Have you found your cat scolding you?

That's funny! My cat is a loveable nag.. in and out all day.. well when she's not sleeping.. she goes outside for awhile, then meows at the door to come in to eat.. then meows to go back out.. She's out all night and the first thing I do when I get out of bed in the morning is let her in for she meows right away..

How funny!! Yes, my one kitty scolds me all the time, lol. If I'm busy at the computer and he thinks it's past his feeding time, he will get up on the printer and batt the paper tray off and send it flying across the room. If I still haven't got my duff off the office chair, he then proceeds to stretch up and batt everything to the floor that's within his reach. He is quite persistant about it! He's a very, very large cat, and is very tall when he's stretched out and standing up on his back feet. He can clear a desk faster than I can blink an eye.

Oh I think that is so cute lol, my Sister has this big and lazy during the day cat that gets all perky in the evening and wants me to play with it and give it loads of attention. I sleep in the loft at night and you should see it racing up when I go to sleep, it meows like hell so I can tickle it's tummy before I can get some forty winks. No rest for the wicked lol..!!!

Don't you just love them. Our's wants to play chase every night when My granddaughter gets home from work. She also insistes on sleeping in the middle of the floor so I have to walk around her. The room isn't very big and when she stretches out in the middleof the floor it's hard to find a place to put my feet.

I don't have a cat, but I have a friend who has several. One of his cats is always meowing very loud, and it seems like he's complaining about something, just like a person would whine and complain when they're not happy with something you do. Cats are so funny.

Yes they scold. My cats are very vocal and when you have had a cat several years you can sometimes distinguish by the sound exactly what they want. My 10 year old cat has several different sounds ranging from 'errrrr' to 'merf' to 'meowww' with variations in between. I have learned what he want for most of them. For example, 'errrr' means he wants me to play with him, and 'meowww' means it's bed time so come to bed. Sometimes when I'm not an obediant human he gets quite loud. LOL
