Why Bush is not so popular as Bin Laden is ?

Bush, the first citizen of U.S. is honoured and symbolized not so popularly as maybe Abraham Lincoln or that to Bill Clinton but why this paradigm shift has occured after the disastorous handling of terrorism after the 9/11 ?
