Can women ever truly acheive equality within an institutional system that has been created by men and arguably, dominated by men ever since? To rephrase, are there routes within the the existing structures (whether legal, political, cultural or socio-economic) for women to acheive formal and/or substantive equality, or will existing structures need to be modified before this will occur? Just interested in hearing some feedback. Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place, I am new to this forum and 'General Philosophy' seemed the best bet.
