What you say about this "Fasting is Good for health"? It's proved! Muslims will observe fast for a whole month and i heard that christians will also observe it while The time of Good friday(iam not sure about the time) Do you observe fast? How many days do you? If you oppose why?

yeah, fasting is good for health. with all the food we throw into our stomach all week, it's good to give our stomach some rests. so, when it needed, our stomach is ready to go back to its duty. fasting will make full benefit if that junk food and fatty food is in your daily meals. fasting will give yur body chance to detoxify from that unhealthy stuff. my family including me, used to fast ever monday and thursday. its something that we try to do routinely. it is hard when i first try to do it, specially when lunch times come and all my friends will ahead to cafetaria. but when i already get used to it and do it reulary, my body feels much more fresh. you should try it sometimes.

I don't believe that fasting is good for the health. Muslims do not eat only from 6PM to 6AM and they can eat all they can from 6AM to 6PM and so actually that is not fasting. If we just miss our meals, we are not fasting. Christians do not fast on Good Fridays, it is the Catholics who allegedly do fasting.

I believe that fasting is good for health. I prefer fasting spread over the year to keeping fast for one month at a time. I observe fast throughout the year. In Hindu tradition fasting is also done for the well being of other family members, husband, children, brother.

Even hindus fast during monsoon, many eat only eat one meal per day - most cultures have included fasting - so it must be good for our health as well to make our minds strong - only humans can say no to food when they are hungry and the food is laid out before them - saying, it is my fast today.

Fasting is definitely good for health. When you fast, the stomach gets a days off and it takes rest. Thereafter, it is able to function better. One day in a week may be an appropriate fasting schedule for a normal person. For others, it has to be worked out according to the several factors involved.
