I am just wondering about something because i thought of it today when i thought my puter was broken and it wasnt thank god. I myself would go nuts if my puter was on the fritz for any length of time. So here the question is what would u do if you didnt have your puter for whatever reason? How would you feel? I would go out of my skin i guess it is because all the time i spent on it when i had no tv you never know i found mylot during my time without tv.

If my computer stopped working, I think I would spend alot of time reading. But I would go a little crazy, because I have friends that I wouldn't be able to talk to without my computer.

LOL I would go completely nuts if my puter was down for any length of time as well. I do however have two "backups" that I can use as well as a friend that lives fairly close that if I needed to I could use hers. I spend my time listening to music rather than watching tv anyway, the problem is that my best playlists are on my computer! LOL. There is always something I can do if I wasn't on the puter. My husband says he knows that my puter or the internet is down cause he gets a proper meal at supper time! LOL. I have some very good friends on the internet and I would miss them tremendously if my pute was down for a long time and it would drive me crazy not being able to tell them what was wrong.

I'm lucky enough to be able to use the computer at work- Sure it would stink not having one at home too- I answer questions from my e-mail and then post them when I get home- Work doesn't allow mylot- adult content- I would still be able to surf the net and make purchases at work- My computer was down for a bit- time warner road runner problem- it was over a long weekend- I thought I'd go crazy!

I've had computer crashes twice and was without one for a week or more each time. It was like giving up chocolate! I went through withdrawal! I felt anxious and distracted for a couple of days. I thought about things that I had lost with the crash and would get really angry. I'd worry about not being able to check my email from the places that depend on me for various things. Then by the second week I would realize how much simpler my life was and how much more relaxed I felt. I had more time to do other things, even got more non-computer tasks done. By week three I'd adapted to what life was like before computers. But I was grateful when it was back in working order and I could connect with more people more easily.

If something happened to my desk top I have a lap top to use in the mean time. I would have to look up all my favorites. In fact I should program in my favorits to my lap top incase this happens in case of an emergency. LOL I have a TV but I also love to read. I have my back yard I putts around in. I put in two large planters of veggies with a drip system. One is cumcumbers and the other one is squash. Yum when they ripen, I have baby cucumbers the squash has not bloomed yet. I put in bush type green beans also. They have blooms I have turned into a mini garndner. I have two tomato plants. The tomatos need to be steaked up. I would keep busy if I did not have my puter. I would miss mylot and other sites I visit on a daily basis.
