AdSense and marketingpond

I have been reading online about ways to drive traffic to a website/blog. One of the techiniques I found is using a website called marketingpond. I am not sure how this website works. I have heard a lot about people getting banned from AdSense because they used sites like blogexplosion. Now I am wondering if using a website with an AdSense Ads in marketingpond is safe. Are you using your website/blog on marketingpond? Do you think it's safe if you are using AdSense?
