I've been having migraine headaches for a long time. I'm sick of trying to deal with the pain. I been out of work for 3 months because of it. I'm okay with the daily pain, it's just when the pain gets worse. But yeah I have pain every single day. It never goes away. Do you have pain like this everyday?

Hi and thanks for your reply and your concern. I have been seeing a doctor about it. So far my doctor thinks that its because of my muscles tightening up in my neck which causes the joint to get tight too and at the same time, pulling my muscles that surrounds my skull and that's whats causing the headaches. Now I am attending physical therapy to help stretch out my muscles so that it can relax. They say that it might be stress related that's the other reason why they don't want me to return to work because I work with kids. Well thank you again for your concern. I hope that you are well.

My family has a history of migraine. I was in high school when I started getting migraines. It grew worse when I got into college. That's when my mom started giving me Excedrin. It's effective and it gets rid of migraines before it turns to headaches. We don't have Excedrin here in the Philippines. We have to get them from the US. What I do when we run out of the pills is that I force myself to puke. It's an old technique in my family (and I heard other people do it too) and it works! ^_^

Thanks for the response. I have tried Excedrin Migraine. After a while, I guess I got used to it because it stopped working. Then I started to take Ibuprophen. It worked for a while but then it stopped working. That's when I went to ER and they gave me a shot. That worked for a day. Now I take prescription medicine. It's not working anymore. My doctor prescribed a different one, but I haven't had the time to pick it up yet. So when I can, I'll pick it up and hope that it works. I haven't heard about forcing yourself to throw up, but I don't think I want to try it. From what I know, it's not a good thing to do. But if it works for you, then I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.
