Do you prefer talking on the phone or emailing? I prefer emailing. I often write long emails but I talk less in person and sometimes I'm even mute. Those people that I know who write 1 paragragh or 1 sentence emails, often talk alot in person and those people I know who write long conversational emails, are quiet people in person.

I haven't decided yet. Right now I am going through an anti-social phase and keep even emails to a minimum. It depends on who you are talking to on the phone. I like the freedom of being able to write an email and not hear another persons reaction to what you say.

I prefer emailing. I like it because I can take my time and do it when I want to do it. With a phone call, you never know if you are interrupting the other person. And on the phone I feel like I have to always talk. Emailing is much more convenient for me.

LOL I'm the other way around. When I'm on the phone, I'm usually the listener, instead of the one who's doing the talking.

For the most part I prefer e-mailing. If it is talking to my parents, I prefer to call and talk to them on the phone. But in an e-mail, you aren't interrupted and you can clearly express your thoughts. If you have emotion icons, you can even use those to express your mood. I find I glean a lot more from e-mail conversations than I do in social conversations, unless it is my parents.

I talk on the phone when it's urgent too or when people don't know how to email, like my mom.
