and discovered you forgot your wallet at home or somewhere else? :) When I was 17, I was out on a first date with a guy I really liked. We had dinner and were about to head out to a movie, when he discovered he'd forgot his wallet at home. I was broke, and couldn't help, but I called my parents and got them to give the restaurant their VISA number so we could leave. It was so embarrassing! We ended up going on a second date FYI, and he brought the cash to pay back my parents when he picked me up. :) What about you? What did you do?

I am fortunately VERY lucky. I started carrying a wallet when I was 13, and I have only ever forgot my wallet twice in that time, both in the first month that I started carrying one. Now, I feel naked without my wallet, calculator, cell phone and keys. Also, I am in the habit of memorizing important numbers, which for you could be a credit card number...
