Yeah, I was just noticing last night that my feet looked nasty. I sometimes put lotion, baby oil, or vaseline on my feet and put socks on at night.

I have tried that but my feet get so hot at night that I end up kicking off my socks. But come to think of it , that did do some good. I guess I'll try it again. Wonder what olive oil would do , I put that all over me before I get out of the tub. Thanks for posting.

Don't worry about it.I think it's a common problem.
When i go to bed i wash my feet using the cold vinegar(only white-venegar) water and bathing-salt.Then put some Ve on them and put on your socks at all night. After several days later,it must be ok.And alst it's a good method for beriberi. It's indeed.Wishes your good luck!

Thanks for the info. I can't keep socks on all night long, I tend to take them off before I go to sleep. LOL Thanks for posting.

Use some really good lotion. Do you have a Sally's beauty supply? The have a good lotion there but I can't remember the name of it.
Use a pumice stone. I had never dared try this, the thought made me get chills! But I heard so many saying they do it, I decided to try. I could not believe the difference!
I have slathered on lotion 1/2 inch thick all over my feet and sleep with a plastic bags on them! It helped, but not much.

My mama used to lather on lotion and put her feet in plastic bags. That didn't help her much either. Yes, we have a Sally's beauty supply, so I'll check there next time I go there. Thanks for the info and for posting.

I use all sorts on my feet to stop them getting dry & hard. I use foot files, foot scrubs, foot masks, and foot creams (which i elave on over night with socks on) and all sorts! I like to have a good pamper, and also i like to keep my feet in good condition becuase it's ahrder to get them back in good condition if you let them get bad than to simply maintain.

You are exactly right. It has to be easier to keep them soft and pampered tha n to have to try to get them back soft after they are hard and dry. Thanks for posting.

I don't know what could be causing that. The massages sound really good. Thanks for posting.

don't walk barefoot. use a slipper and try not to walk on the cold floor. as everyone else recommend, use baby oil...preferably Johnson Baby Oil. Nice smell and very good on the skin.

I have tried and tried not to go barefoot and I just can't break the habit. Thanks for the info and recommendation of baby oil. Thanks for posting.

A couple times a week, I coat my feet in Vaseline and put a pair of socks on and go to bed. This does seem tohelp with the dryness. I soak my feet first so it is keeping some moisture in. Also, I coat my feet with some type of lotion a couple times a week, too. And do the same thing. The Vaseline does a better job, but I like the feeling of lotion soaking into my feet. So, I do both.

I like going barefoot too. I use lots of skin moisturizer. If it's not too hot, put the moisturizer on then a pair of socks before going to bed. Also, rubbing your feet in sand is very good for them, so if you have any sandpiles around that kids play in try it.
