Article ideas

I am currently writing articles for Associated Content and am running out of things to write about. I would like to know what I can write about that will get a lot of people's attention. What subjects are considered most popular to read on the internet? What is everyone interested in? What kind of article would you be interested in reading? Some feedback and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

At first I saw the ghost story idea and thought it was kind of crazy but then I remembered that a friend of mine wrote an article about local places that are supposedly haunted (places near here hometown). This was for another site, but it was very popular, and with Halloween just around the corner, this might be a great idea.

Thanks so much for the ideas. I never thought about doing some sort of ghost story article. That sounds like a really interesting idea that may be pretty popular.

If you're just looking for quick pageviews, celebrity gossip and breaking news are your best bets. Personally, I'm not good with news and I hate celeb gossip, so I just write on topics that interest me. Write content that is "evergreen," things that will not go out of style, and you should be able to bring in viewers for a long time to come. Check this out: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/194726/looking_for_inspiration_how_to_find.html . You'll find some good ideas on coming up with new article topics.

I've done a lot of articles on celebrity gossip, but that topic is starting to get on my nerves. They have gotten a lot of hits though. I havn't done any news aticles, but I hear they pay at least $4 bucks for breaking news stories. I just don't know if I would be any good writing the news. Thanks for the advice and I'll check out the article you posted.

I usually try and write for the special content. I got an email from Associated Content that they are looking for articles on all these different TV shows. Also they tend to like seasonal stuff. So with summer coming up, you could try articles that relate to that subject (what you do in the summer, grilling recipes, protecting yourself from the sun, gardening...you get the idea). Good luck with your writing. You can find me over at Associated Content: http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/25660/christine_zibas.html

I have written one article on the t.v. shows list, but got a pretty low offer for it. I havn't tried the seasonal stuff yet, but it can't hurt to give it a shot. Thanks for the tips and I'll definitely give your articles a look. If you see a comment from Angela Gordon, that's me.

You must act as if you are already the kind of person you want to be. The real key to changing your self-image is to continually think of yourself as already being the kind of person you want to be. Best regards
