Who here cooks in a slow cooker or crock pot?

If you do, what receipes do you use and how long have you been cooking this way?
I just recently began cooking with a crock pot and I love it. Since having my twins, finding receipes to cook with my twins at my feet is not easy. So, I went to the store and purchased a crock pot, found some recipes online and began using it in the evening.
When I wake in the morning, my dinner is done and I just put my food on warm until dinner time.
It is so easy!!!

I bought a slow cooker recipe book at a garage sale, but to tell you the truth I haven't even looked at it yet. I do cook a lot in the crock pot, but I do a lot of soups, roasts, chili. Usually anything that I cook in the oven I put in the crock pot. Especially in the summer, less heating up of the house. But, I am only working part time now, so I don't use it as much. I like to make my brisket in the crock pot, better than in the oven, I am not sure how, but it seems to taste better.

We use a slower cooker alot in the summer months.This way we can still have a home cooked meal without heating up the whole house. The added advantage is that you can turn it on los so that the food takes all day to cook while you do other things. I agree with you it is so easy. Wish we had gotten one sooner.
